A Day In The Life
A day in the life of a CLASS Leasing Specialist is always unique. Whether you’re on the East Coast or West Coast, each assignment brings a new set of challenges, exciting experiences, and opportunities to grow. Providing leasing services is an important responsibility and can be extremely rewarding.
CLASS Leasing Specialists typically work from 11 am to 6 pm on weekdays, 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, and 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday. The majority of our Leasing Specialists live at the communities where they work and make the most of their mornings by exploring their cities and preparing for another exciting day as a leasing agent.
Once in the office, the CLASS Leasing Specialist is responsible for all leasing and marketing activities on the property. The Leasing Specialist handles all leasing-related phone calls and walk-in traffic, which includes greeting prospective residents, showing apartments, and closing leases. Pulling from decades of experience and using the techniques learned in the certification course, our Leasing Specialists have the expertise to lease apartments FAST!
Many of our assignments require a strong marketing effort in order for CLASS to be successful. Our Leasing Specialist will develop and implement a property-specific marketing plan which typically includes monitoring the property’s online presence and reputation, developing and delivering flyers and print material, setting up outreach marketing with local businesses, implementing resident referral programs, and planning leasing events. Each leasing professional serves as everything from a property leasing agent to an apartment marketing consultant.
At the end of the day, our Leasing Specialist will log their daily traffic and marketing outreach effort into the CLASS data entry system and speak with a CLASS management representative to make sure the project is on track. Then, it’s time to meet new friends, explore a new city, and rest up for another busy day ahead!
